Quality Assurance Management Release |
1. The bundled set of Quality Assurance Management related Deliverables that acts as the Project Management unit of delivery for a Quality Assurance Management Organization and as measure for its Solutions, including but not limited to Products, Services, Systems, Assets, Applications, Software, Devices and Capabilities, all while adhering to a defined Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 2. An aggregated, controlled, repeatable, uniquely identifiable and versioned set of Quality Assurance Management related Changes that are intended to be applied or have been applied to an existing construct or set of constructs, such as but not limited to Environments, Organizations, Systems, Processes, Procedures and/or Artifacts, and which are intended to follow a defined Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the purpose of delivery to intended Quality Assurance Management specific Stakeholders. 3. The term Software Developers and Product Developers use to represent a packaged and versioned Quality Assurance Management deliverable, represented as a controlled set of Changes that are intended to be deployed to a final consumer or environment for the purpose of utilization by some downstream Resource, Organization or System. 4. A term used by some Infrastructure and Support Organizations or Resources to describe what is more regularly referred to as a deployment (i.e. a set of Infrastructure Changes) of a Quality Assurance Management related Product or Software Release. |
