1. An electronic file considered to be a software coding construct or a Configuration Item that is often represented in some binary or textual character set that defines or represents ordered formats or rules conforming to the constraints of a specific software programming language or interpretive system. Such constructs are used in the construction of Software which is intended to be leveraged by Resources, Systems and even other Software.
